Dream of His Holiness

I am very excited, because last night was the first time I dreamt of His Holiness The Dalai Lama!

In the long dream, there was a series of going-ons but again I can't recall the full details. I was in this huge place like a convention hall. There were some proceedings in which many people were rushing about to get things done. I don't see anything religious or religious objects around, I only remembered something about 2 babies. One baby was what my sis was muttering something to me, then another was somebody else's baby.

Suddenly I saw many people present, and suddenly I saw from afar His Holiness and his entourage of few lamas and security men in black. His Holiness was entering the hall and greeted everyone with clasped hands. Everyone hovered around in excited silence, with clasped hands in return and kneeling down. It seemed the reason for his presence was to say prayers for the 2 babies. It was a brief few minutes and after that, His Holiness was quickly escorted out of the hall.

As I followed behind His Holiness, he remained a few metres away from me and all too soon, he was gone. Then suddenly, my guru His Eminence Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche appeared, and seemed happy to see me. He came forward to me, as I quickly knelt down with clasped palm. He reached me, slid his hands on my hands and then blessed my head as he said something to me and smiling. Again I don't know what he was saying to me. Then the dream immediately ended.

His Holiness, the manifestation of Avalokiteshvara or Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, the Tibetan equivalent of Guan Yin, appeared in my dream! And a few days ago, 1 August, was the Enlightenment day of Guan Yin (Avalokiteshvara). Om mani padme hum!
