I was drawn to this scene of spectacular colours and moved to write....
Impending nightfall,
Myriad of stars livened up
The solemn dark skies,
Dusk in a distance,
Solitary tree's haunting presence,
A whiff of red,
Billowing around,
A whiff of life,
Sauntering through the woods,
Replica of this reflection,
Upon the stillness
Of an almost non-existent lake.
