I like this dessert from Tanjong Pagar market. It's Annie's Peanut Ice Kacang. It's slightly different from the more common version of Ice Kacang. It's a ball of finely shaved ice, with bits of jelly, corn, and dripping with colourful syrup and gula melaka, the ice ball is drenched with smashed red bean all over it and splattered generously with peanut powder on top. The ice is so smooth that it melts in your mouth and it is a very refreshing and cooling dessert in Singapore's hot weather!
