You light up my life

This is my butter lamp offering, before and after. Tonight after the puja, the 8 lamas led us on a lights offering ceremony. We circumambulated around our center (with the Buddhas and holy objects inside) outside the neighbourhood 3 times. This was highly significant.

The offering of light is a means of dispelling the darkness of our own ignorance through this act of offering we accumulate bountiful merit and wisdom. Through the power of this accumulation, we can remove the cataracts of our ignorant eyes in order to gain Buddha's supreme luminous wisdom eyes.

Again after tonight's 16 Arhats puja, I was extremely knocked out and so going to bed early.
