So the President Elections is over and Dr Tony Tan becomes our new President, by merely a 0.34 % margin or 7,269 votes. I'm extremely disappointed but hey, life moves on.
Looking at Dr Tan Cheng Bock's Facebook page, throngs of people have left touching messages for him for his loss. Dr Tan said that although he has lost, he felt like he has won. "I hope this election will set Singaporeans thinking of the responsibility of choosing somebody you like, not somebody who's endorsed," said Dr Tan Cheng Bock to his supporters after the results.
