A typical weekend lunch

This is a typical lunch during the weekend at home - Teochew porridge (nowadays it's brown rice porridge). There are braised dark sauce pork belly with tau kwa and eggs, stir fry bean sprouts (with ham or giam cai salted veg), and some preserved stuff which are very popular to go with watery porridge... Preserved olive veg, preserved lettuce, salted duck egg. I  find teochew plain porridge can really quench thirst, compared to eating other food which is sometimes laden with MSG. It's really comfort food from home.
