Among some stuff I intend to bring to Dubai, one is Ngo Hiang. I asked my mom to help me make some wrapped meat rolls for my Dubai friend. So the past weekend, I helped her cut, peeled and chopped the water chestnuts, pork meat, prawns, carrots, fish meat. And then I was steaming and steaming and steaming those rolls for few hours while my mom wrapped them! It was no joke. So exhausting. Now I know why I am not cut out for the kitchen.
