I'll be there

I am super exhausted now even though I want to blog. Have not blogged for almost a week (the earlier posts were scheduled). Four days of non-stop entertaining made me lose appetite with a parched throat and cracked lips. But it was a fun few days with people I rarely meet and get to know better. I think I would make a terrible tour guide because I don't have enough stamina of rushing here and there, and cracking my head where to go and where to eat.  Ended the weekend having ice cream with the family as well as a Tara puja (because I felt I needed it) and it really drained me out. Hence I am stoned now. I am, however, glad I did 3 weeks of 3 Tara pujas consecutively amidst other pujas.

Also managed to catch the movie, Michael Jackson - This Is It. I really salute the king of pop, who was super talented and super detailed in his quest for the best in his music. I wish his fate was slightly better though. Here is one old song I like immensely - I'll Be There.  Love lives forever, Michael.

You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back
Where there is love, I'll be there
I'll reach out my hand to you, I'll have faith in all you do
Just call my name and I'll be there
I'll be there to comfort you,
Build my world of dreams around you, I'm so glad that I found you
I'll be there with a love that's strong
I'll be your strength, I'll keep holding on
Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness, well that's all I'm after
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I'll be there to protect you, with an unselfish love that respects you

Just call my name and I'll be there
If you should ever find someone new,
I know he'd better be good to you
'Cause if he doesn't, I'll be there
Don't you know, baby, yeah yeah
I'll be there, I'll be there, just call my name,
I'll be there
(Just look over your shoulders, honey - oo)
I'll be there, I'll be there, whenever you need me, I'll be there
Don't you know, baby, yeah yeah
I'll be there, I'll be there, just call my name,
I'll be there......

  1. I went to watch This is it too! He seemed so humble and yet he's so talented. :)

Do drink more water. Perhaps it's not the non-stop entertainment but the weather too for the parched throat.

  2. Hi Ivy
Thanks! Yes, the weather is killing me, but glad we have the occasional heavy rain.

It seems such an irony, for a super star who started his career at the age of 6, he remained such an innocent child at heart even till his death.
