Exercise and eat!

Went for a swim in the evening as I needed to stretch and exercise. Well, it was literally 'no sweat', as I dislike sports with sweat (haha), so I didn't mind soaking myself in the water. Swimming is my second favourite exercise, after cycling. Basically I am laid back (read: LAZY) when it comes to exercise and many young friends I know did not even know I could swim or do anything strenuous. They didn't even know I could play badminton, haha! In school, I used to play badminton non-stop the whole day after the exams.

I used to take swimming lessons since primary school and had completed the Gold Medal course, one level short of the Life-saving course. To think that I once even participated in an inter-school swimming competition and won! Last time, swimming 40 laps was not much of a problem. Now, I am lucky if I could swim continuously for 3 laps. No more stamina. Most of the time, I think I would rather just soak in water and relax! Hehe...

After the swim, we went Aljunied hawker centre for dinner. Normally we would have ordered the famous fish soup and braised duck wings but we would have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the food (usually I would call and order 1 or 2 hours earlier). So we decided to try the tze char stall nearby instead.

The San Lao Horfun was nice, with plain fish slices and beansprouts with kway teow. I liked the BBQ Sambal Stingray that came in a leaf and shiok cincalok chilli. There was another spicy dish, Sambal Sotong which was chewy nice too. Had to order some veggies to go along with the spicy dishes - we had stir-fried Kai Lan, and also some plain rice. All the dishes had the "wok hei" which made them extra tasty. What a nice sinful little feast after exercise! :DDD
