Enjoy each step along the way

Wayne Dyer said: "When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way."
Niece was due to perform a dance item tonight in some constituency's National Day dinner.  The whole family went to watch to give her support. Before the item, they had their buffet dinner. Niece was the tallest among her friends.
She was more than a head taller than her good friend, that she had to lower herself to the same height as her friend for this photo. Getting ready and ever ready with a smile for the camera. Hers was a Chinese dance segment. See the chinese drum and "ang ang" (red) make up?
She also took a photo with her Number One fan - her brother.
Here it was, all of a 10-minute performance.  So many VIPs and 2 Ministers were present. The usual fanfare of lion dance, chinese dance, malay dance, indian dance, singing national anthem, and saying the pledge!.... I actually pity politicians and grassroot leaders. It must be so boring having to attend countless similar dinners like this, especially during National Day celebration period.  But.... well done, niece!!
This was our dinner, at a neighbourhood Tze Char coffeeshop. There was this special dish they said only served today - Seafood Claypot - a mix of many ingredients (cuttlefish, fish maw, sea cucumber, chinese mushroom, prawns, carrots, young corn, fish slices, cauliflower etc..). Then there was French Beans with minced meat, oyster omelette, and Tie Pan Tofu. The dishes tasted quite ok.
My favourite dish got to be the Mango Fish. Fish pieces were deep fried and dribbled with sweet sour tangy mango sauce. Very appetising.
After the performance, before we headed home, we went for a little snack. Anyone knows what we were having?  A dead giveaway would be on this boy's mouth and fingers......
McDonald's Seaweed Shakers Fries!!! So yummilicious!! That's our snack, with ice cream and sundae too.
