Autumn in Singapore, illustrated

I was inside a building when I chanced upon this scene outside. The clouds were darkening. This lone tree was almost barren, devoid of green leaves. Despite the old shophouses and newer buildings in the background, the lone tree, the gathering dark clouds, the large field along a quiet road, all evoked a laid-back nostalgic feel of Autumn, right here in the one-season summer Singapore. It was as if I was transported to somewhere else in another country. A rare sight. I walked out of the building and captured this, somewhere along Petain Road.
