When a couple quarrel, is it better that one party remain silent while the other party rant? Or should both parties be screaming away at each other? Or should both parties give each other the silent treatment?
While I think it's better that one party remained silent, still the other screaming party should not be ranting away unreasonably. For after the storm tides over, the "vocal" party just forget everything happened in the first place. However, the silent party is the one who remained hurt and bottled up inside. It will still burst one day.
PS. Nonetheless, I think I prefer the silent sufferer rather than the ranting madman.
