Hill Street Tai Wah Noodles

Last night ate at one of my favourite Bak Chor Mee in Singapore. It's the famous Hill Street Tai Wah Bak Chor Mee (pork noodles) at Lane Crawford. They used to be at the old Marina Square Shopping Center and there is always a queue at any time of the day. Although the price is a bit steep for coffeeshop food, it was worth it. They charge $4/$5/$6 portions. They were quite generous with the pork liver, minced meat, pork slices, fried cuttle fish, vinegar and pork lard (yes I love sinful pork lard!). I took the Kway Teow soup instead last night as I just had fishball noodles in the afternoon. It was equally nice.

Next door to the Bak Chor Mee stall is a Western food stall that serves pretty nice Western sets too. Its called Happy Chef Western Food. I called the Fish and Chips set and the BBQ sauce Chicken set to share with the family while we each ate our fill of the Bak Chor Mee.
