I passed by a neighbourhood bakery and saw these. I do not know exactly what you call them. They are traditional snacks made of maltose and peanuts. They are chewy, sweet and powdery on the outside. I remember hawkers peddling these in those days. When I saw these, I was so happy because you could hardly find these around anymore. I bought a box to try. It was not as sweet and shiok as the ones last time and not as chewy. But I guess it was still a good substitute. Sadly many traditional snacks are already no longer in production.
