I need to satisfy my craving for chicken rice almost every week. So whenever I'm out I like to try chicken rice from different stalls.
Discovered Tai Loke Hainan Chicken Rice along Queen St, near the Waterloo St Guan Yin temple. Been there a couple of times. There is always a steady queue. I like to order my usual combination of white chicken rice with liver and braised egg. Although it is an assuming small stall and the portion also quite small, I find the chicken rice very fragrant and not too dry. The chicken is not too fatty yet juicy. The chilli sauce is shiok. Even the plain soup goes well with the rice.
