五月初五

When I was in primary school, I would stay over at my grandma's old attap house every school holidays. During the dragon boat festival, my grandma would have received many bunches of dumplings gifted from relatives and friends. She would hang the bunches of fragrant dumplings on a long bamboo stick (tik ko) in her very big kitchen. And every day I just look forward to eating the dumplings. In those days I could happily wallop about 6-7 dumplings each day! Happy memories.
