9am on a typical week day, in the hustle of Central Business District (CBD) in Shenton Way, in the MRT lift lobby, many people were rushing for work. That morning saw this handicapped man in a wheelchair, trying and waiting to get into the lift. However other abled bodies were rushing into the one and only lift by batches, every minute. The poor man has no choice but to patiently wait for his turn to even get near to the lift door. The irony of it all was, this lift was built to cater for the handicapped, with the "Handicapped Sign" above the lift door. Which make us abled normal humans seem like sick creatures, right?
