Went to KL and Genting the past weekend, for nephew and niece, because it's the school hols. And my god, it took us 7.30am to almost 12noon to get past both Singapore and Malaysian immigration, because it was too crowded and also loads of incompetency faced from the Singapore side. By the time we reached KL it was already 4 plus in the afternoon, we cant go anywhere except eat and walk around Bukit Bintang where our hotel was. We had to forgo plans to shop in Mid Valley. The next morning we were off to Genting Highlands. It was a pleasant ride because it was cool and drizzling hence the highlands was cold. We spent the day at the theme parks and shopping. Never stay in First World Hotel during schools hols, because even though we had the deluxe room, it could not compare to our KL deluxe room. Plus they have about 6000 rooms, in addition to the other hotels, imagine the number of human traffic loitering at the lobby trying to check in and out. God. But Mom won RM500 from the jackpot, so I guess we had a fun trip. Most importantly, I spent quality precious time with the family.
