Temporary relief

I think a lot of people are going to be thankful for today. They will love today. Because it finally rained. After the hot spell these days, I was so happy when I see there was no morning sun today. There were dark skies and there was wind. Although I think this would be temporary because the hot sun would still come out again soon, at least it was a temporary relief. When it was burning hot, moods got agitated, we tire easily, tempers flared, and we do not think properly. So even a drop of rain was heaven.

How many times in life you had hoped for a temporary relief from something ..... for example, a temporary relief from busy work for time alone to check your thoughts, a temporary relief for a getaway holiday just to relax, a temporary relief in financial aid when times were really bad, a temporary relief from crying kids for a quiet time etc...
