Limitless skies of merits in HHDL teachings in Sera

His Holiness Dalai Lama is bestowing the series of Jangchup Lamrim in Sera Monastery from 25 Dec to 3 Jan 2014.  It is a continuation from last year's teachings in Gaden and Drepung monasteries. Beautiful teachings and this time, a great assembly of 30,000 sangha and devotees in the audience.

I've been keeping a close attention to the teachings as well as posting many beautiful photos of the daily happenings. Let me see how to share it here.  You can watch the teachings here, daily from 25 Dec to 3 Jan 2013, daily 2 sessions, approximately Singapore time 11.30am to 2pm and then 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

In the meantime, I would like to share the below photo and quote from Atisha; an elderly Tibetan lady in the audience is among many who faithfully attended the teachings everyday. Rejoice!

“If it possessed physical form,
The merit of the altruistic intention
Would completely fill the whole of space
And exceed even that.
If someone were to fill with jewels
As many buddha fields as there are grains
Of sand in the Ganges
To offer to the Protector of the World,
This would be surpassed by
The gift of folding one’s hands
And inclining one’s mind to enlightenment,
For such is limitless.”

From "Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment" by Jowo Je Atisha
