Angelina Jolie visits victims of the Pakistan floods

As a U.N. goodwill ambassador, Angelina Jolie is on a mission to northwestern Pakistan on 7 Sept 2010 to visit the flood victims, Afghan refugees and to aid workers. The U.N. is targeting a $460 million aid, of which only a third of that amount has been raised.

Angelina Jolie met with mothers who have lost their children and families whose homes were destroyed by the massive floods. The floods has killed 1,700 people and over 17 million have been affected.
