Healing in a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.

Over the past weekend, I attended a teaching session given by a kind and precious guru, the Abbot of Kopan Monastery, Khen Rinpoche Lama Lhundrup Rigsel. He is here in Singapore to give teachings and pujas in Amitabha Buddhist Centre.

After the teaching, Khen Rinpoche decided to give an oral transmission of Om Mani Padme Hum to reinforce and speed up the realisation of all participants' compassion. Rejoice to the ripening of the merits of all the participants present.

Just when Rinpoche was leaving and walking towards the car, a man approached him and whispered to him something. Apparently I guess the man was suffering from some ailment, his legs were swollen and he has difficulty walking, he was limping. Rinpoche immediately asked him to sit down, and for the next few minutes, Rinpoche bent down and chanted many prayers and mantras and blew on the man's legs. I am very fortunate to witness a very compassionate lama praying for and healing a suffering fellow sentient being. I am very touched.

ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT!

In other news, over at Dro-Phen Ling, the popular and affectionately named Healing Lama, 90-year-old His Eminence Kangyur Rinpoche Lobsang Choephel, will be arriving in Singapore this coming Thursday, 23 Sept at 7am, on SQ407.

Information of his Grand Healing pujas, initiations and in-house events can be found here Rinpoche will be conducting personal consultation and healing for people who are seriously ill or possessed by other ailments which doctors are unable to diagnose. The response is overwhelming and many people are on the waiting list to seek Rinpoche's audience. Rinpoche has healed many many people in the past when he was here in 2007 and he still sees many patients everyday in Dharamsala.  For those who may not be able to seek private consultation, it is equally beneficial to attend the public healing pujas and initiations and blessings presided by Kangyur Rinpoche himself.

Do treasure this valuable rare opportunity to meet Rinpoche and to plant the seed of affinity with Rinpoche as this will be his final visit to Singapore. Many centres all over the world have requested for Rinpoche to visit, but due to age, Rinpoche has declined to travel. Hence this time  Singaporeans are truly honoured that the Healing Lama has most compassionately agreed to visit Dro-Phen Ling. This is an exclusive visit especially to help and benefit the people of Singapore. Do treasure this opportunity to seek the Living Buddha's blessings, guidance and healing.
